Welcome to the CNN Lab! The goal of research conducted in our lab is to better understand how biological, psychological, and cognitive functioning are affected after traumatic brain injury (TBI), and in turn, how these factors influence recovery and outcome post-injury. In partnering with local organizations, our lab has had the privilege of working with survivors of TBI from all corners of the community, including populations that are at high risk for co-morbid mental/behavioral health issues. It is our hope that findings from our research can be translated into clinical applications that aid in the future development of diagnostic and/or rehabilitative tools.
